Terms & Conditions of Sale


Minimum order is $50 per shipment.
Purchase Orders are required. Verbal Orders will not be accepted
Cancellation of special or custom product orders may incur cancellation fees.

Payment terms, domestic customer

Payments are due within thirty (30) days from the date of invoice with prior credit approval. Otherwise, payments are due prior to shipment by check, funds transfer or credit card. COD shipments will not be accepted.

Payment terms, International customers

Payments are due in U.S. dollars by advance payment, funds transfer, check or credit card, covering merchandise, prepaid freight charges and bank fees that may apply.


All shipments are F.O.B. distribution centers, located in West Palm Beach, FL.


Claims for goods damaged in shipment or shortages must be made by customer directly with freight carrier.

All returns must be approved by Harmsco Filtration Products, and a Returns Goods Authorization (RGA) must be issued. A twenty-five (25) percent restocking charge may apply to authorized returns. Once an RGA is issued, merchandise is to be returned to Harmsco Filtration Products within 30 days prepaid freight. (Please see Returns goods policy for more details)
Limited warranty

Most Harmsco Filtration Products come with a limited warranty covering materials and workmanship. Some products sold by Harmsco Filtration Products have no warranty, or they are covered by the original manufacture’s warranty. Please contact Harmsco Filtration Products and refer to limited warranty information for more details.


We make every effort to notify customers with price change information. However, prices are subject to change without notice.

Past due accounts

A 1.5% per month service charge will be applied to all accounts past due thirty (30) days or more. Harmsco reserves the right to change or revoke credit terms based on delinquent payment history at any time.


The terms and conditions described above supersede any previously written terms and conditions that appear in company documents. Any changes to our terms and conditions must be authorized by Harmsco Filtration Products.

Returned Goods Policy

1. Customers will need to provide the following information in order to receive a Returned Goods Authorization (Download Returned Goods Authorization Form here):

A. Contact name
B. Company name
C. Customer Number
D. Products to be returned and reason for the return
E. Customer’s PO number, under which the goods were purchased ( if issued)
F. Harmsco Filtration Products invoice number, under which the goods were purchased.

2. Requests for returns must be approved by the Return Goods Administrator, and only the
RGA Administrator shall issue Return Goods Authorizations.

3. No products may be returned or credits processed, until written approval has been issued
by the Harmsco Filtration Products RGA Administrator.

4. Transportation costs and risk of damage or loss in transit are the customer’s responsibility.

5. Goods returned for credit or refund, including goods returned for inspection under warranty, must
be shipped to the warehouse by prepaid transportation. No “Collect” shipments will be accepted.

6. Customers may not return merchandise without a Return Goods Authorization being issued.
Please note RGA numbers on the shipping label for proper processing, and include a copy of the
RGA form inside the shipping carton for proper processing.

7. RGA requests must be made within 30 days of resceipt of product for any reason other
than warranty issues.

8. Only items that can be re-stocked for sale may be returned.

9. Custom products, such as backwashing filters, filtration systems, and commercial softners may
not be returned.

10. Authorized credits will be issued at the price paid, less a twenty-five (25%) percent restocking charge.

Sample & Literature Policy

Requests for samples may be made as follows:

1. $50 order minimum will not apply for reasonable sample requests.
2. All orders for samples will be invoiced, including freight costs.
3. Standard payment terms shall apply.
4. Samples may be returned for credit upon issuance of an RGA and must returned within 60 days of shipment.
5. Samples returned for credit must be shipped freight prepaid.
6. No credits will be issued for samples, that cannot be resold.
7. Credits will be issued for authorized sample returns, less any incurred freight costs.
8. To expedite any returns, please use Return Goods Request form.

Reasonable quantities for standard brochures are available, free of charge. There may,
however be a charge for certain literature requests. Sales aids are listed below:
